there really issin't anything exciting to blog about. Unless you consider the fact that my piano's getting tuned today to be something exciting, i'll leave you with more pictures (:
oh maybe i just found a ranting topic. SCREWW STUDENT ACCOMODATIONS. farking expensive bloody idiots. While i was at IDP, the counsellor found an on-campus accomodation for us, seems really neat and stuffs, and the fee's going at A$11,000 for a "full year". Aussie usually calculates in terms of "weekly" so i asked how much is it per week, and the counsellor just divided 11,000 by 52 which is about A$215 per week with food and linen services. i thought "hey, thats pretty cool." Until i walked out of idp and was reading through the application form, "Accomodations are invalid during semester breaks, if students request to stay in, an additional rate may apply at A$30.95/nightly" ANDDD THENNNN, i went to recalculate how much it costs weekly WITHOUT the semseter breaks and guess how much it came up to? FARKING A$500 PER WEEK, convert it back to sin dollars and its freaking S$700. PER WEEK FOLKS, PER WEEK. steph, "go eat shit and die." was so utterly pissed.
