exams...omfg! days of non stop mugging. from 9am to 11pm slogging it out at Macs. But its alright, somehow its much more enjoyable than mugging for As. I guess its because in a JC, everyone's competitive, the singapore education system just has this thing to make people compete with each other throughout their lives. And what do we get at the end of it? being selfish, self centered and egoistic. For the worse, being demoralised, discouraged or even anti social. Singaporeans students, as sad as it sounds, are too stereotyped. Seriously, from aged 7-18, you go to school, learn new stuffs, bond and make friends then forced to compete agressively with them. and its seriously ugly to see people turn their backs on you over mere assignments, tests and exams. Then carrying the same flawed culture into the working world, compete compete and more competition. Maybe this is the reason why our parents often warn us of the harshness of the working world..its because we're brought up to be exactly like that. To compete, to rise to the top at the expense of others.

Then government schools students would look at private school students and conveniently condem them to be inferior. What bimbos. At least we grow up to be more humane if anything.

p/s: yes i know i've totally conflicting with myself since i used "we" in both situations. but i'm was both from a gvt school and am in an international school. hiak
