Mika - life in cartoon motion.
The best artist after the era of Queen and Bee Gees.

Really, how often would you get an artist who debuts with an whole album of GOOD SONGS. He's the only modern ang moh artist i listen to. I've never liked comtemporary english songs because it has no melody, no tune, no passion. They're singing for money, for fame for luxuries. We need more artists who sings for music, who puts everything they have into their songs and most importantly.. they CAN ACTUALLY sing. Sorry.. but as much as i admit westlife songs are good, they can't sing for goodness sake and they don't compose their own songs, they're just a BOYband. Mika impressed me because his emphasis was on genre alike to BeeGees and Queen, in other words.. oldies. Listen to Grace Kelly then Don't stop me now..listen to Stuck in the middle then Man in the middle..listen to Big girl then Fat bottom girls.. listen to happy ending then say a little prayer. This guy is awesomely good, we no longer have to go back to oldies for good songs, he's bringing fresh new oldies to us. Its not an easy feat to relive oldies, whats more singing like Freddie Mercury and BeeGees.

Lately, my favourite genre of music has narrowed down very much to only new age, instrumental, ballads and Jrock. I don't even listen to pop anymore. I just pray Yoshiki releases Violet UK before i actually shelve my MP3 player.
