Yesterday was such a busy day.
8-11.30am : Lessons
11.30-1 : Lunch with dad
1-3 : Preparing for the day to meet my pals
3-5 : Had elephancino in Heeren's NYDC with yunshan
5-6 : Snacking in Cine's Cafe Cartel with the addition of cassandra.
7-11 : Had my night in The Altivo Bar
i was moodswinging all the way till we arrived at Mount Faber. Hahas! nono, no tantrums at all, just the lack of drive. It was really bad in the morning, i even felt like cancelling the dinner. hahas! But i felt better when i met up with yunshan, and our conversation's like so damn i've-been-seeing-you-for-the-past-year-everyday :)
After 2 hours, we actually headed to Cafe Cartel cuz Cass joined in and she was hungry. It was hilarious i tell you. We took SUPER long to order the food, and when we did, we realised we were SUPER late. hahahs! We ordered the food at 5.45pm and had to meet up with others at 6pm! Talk about screwed up time sense. SOOO, we ended up carrying a huge cafe cartel bag to Altivo.
The cable car ride up to Mount Faber was funny. Esp when there's 2 person with height phobia on board :)
Then to the highlight of the night, Alitvo. The food's not bad and the scenery is AWESOME. The service, however, i wouldn't say its bad.. just SLOW. They gave us a pathetic seat, so i made a tiny noise and had us moved to a proper dining area. (That took quite a while too) After making our orders, the waiter left out Ruth's (or should i say Ruff?) fish and chips and we waited like another hour for it! By the time we started on our food, it was already 9pm! WHAT THE HELL RIGHT?! when we actually arrived a little after 7pm! i was a little upset at first cuz everyone was in their own little clinque. Cammy and Carina were practically staring into space. But i'm glad the ice melted :)
Cassandra: thank you baby for carrying the flowers to me, and the uninvited part was obv just to crack up the atmosphere! love you darling!!
Carina: hahas! u shouldn't have come, just LEAVE! are u like swimming in that pond of Altivo's? hahas! thanks for being there sweetheart, you made my night :) And the present? it was sooo damn sweet! *lovelove*
Ruth: Thank you baby for the cake!! it was SUPER nice. *yum yum* and yes i know u actually said "chocolate?! that's so common lah" (-.-)" SORRY FOR BEING COMMON!
Cammy: hahahhas!! DOU DOU~ are u like staring at the picture?? LUCKY GIRL! yeah, he's cute :) and STOP HELPING CARINA!! sobbbs. you don't know how much she bullies me lah *huggies*
Shimin: Thanks for all the little "toroboy", "gv2" & "jn" thingy. IT was sooo not funnny! and the dedication? I LOVE IT! hahhahs! you made a happy girl.
Hwa and Yun: i dunnoe what to say, really. Maybe just, what is the night without the two of you? and for that..I love you :)
That's a little msg to my angels.
And you know whats funny? After the meal, carina actually shouted "OK! TIME FOR THE BIRTHDAY CAKE!" when it was actually meant as a surprise. HAHAHS! SPOILER!! The candle lighting was damn funny also cuz the wind kept blowing it off and i had to make do with just one candle! They sang a loud birthday song~ and as if that wasn't enough.. shimin went to the live band there and made a DEDICATION!! oh my goshhh, it was like damn sweeeet lah!!! In the msg read out by the band, it included this... "from ur pretty girlfriends" ahhas!! The band sang a jazz birthday song for me and actually asked those in the restaurant to clap along!!! OH MY GAWDDD! and my angels had to clap so loudly that everyone knows its us! hahahs!! and guess what? Some REALLY did clap along! ohhh.. and one thing about Altivo, the waiters there are cuteee! for the sake of our beloved dou dou, we especially requested for this waiter to help take a picture for us. After he took it, dou dou took a picture with him!! WOW WOW WOW!
She felt too embarassed to stay on any longer so we got the bill and left.
Most of us went home but me and shimin decided to go town and take a walk. We were onboard the last train.. When we reached Raffles Place interchange, we saw a train on the opposit side, we were arguing whether was it going towards town.. and were deciding whether to take a run for it cuz it would be the last train. We ran out of the train and ran to the next one but it closed on us and left! Then the announcement "This train station will be closing as all train services have terminated" OH MY GODD.. shimin panicked and we couldn't find our way out! it was super scary lah! there's not a single SOUL! everything was soo not smooth so instead of going to town, we decided to just head home. hahas! We'll go pubbing on the actual day :)
Last night was a BLAST!
